Embedded Systems Engineer
Hardware Engineer II responsible for designing, validating, and optimizing PC and mobile device components using advanced PCB, FPGA, and ASIC tools, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability across global product lines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high‑performance PCBs for consumer electronics, applying signal integrity and thermal analysis best practices.
- Implement FPGA and ASIC prototypes, creating RTL code, performing synthesis, place‑and‑route, and functional verification.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define specifications, review design changes, and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Conduct design reviews, create detailed documentation, and maintain version control of all hardware artifacts.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for production defects, providing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware design for consumer electronics.
- Strong knowledge of FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog) and ASIC design flow.
- Experience with signal integrity, thermal analysis, and PCB manufacturing processes.
