Systems Engineer
Lead the design and integration of embedded hardware and systems, focusing on FPGA and Linux-based solutions, while ensuring robust PCB layout and simulation for high-performance applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate hardware platforms, including FPGA and ASIC components, for embedded systems.
- Implement firmware in C/C++ on Linux-based embedded boards, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Create and review PCB layouts, perform signal integrity analysis, and coordinate with manufacturing partners.
- Conduct hardware-software integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports for cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with FPGA design (Verilog/VHDL) and embedded Linux development.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad) and simulation software.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
