Software Engineer
Guidewire Jutro Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insurance core system components using Guidewire Jutro, Java, and SQL while integrating REST services in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire Jutro applications to support core insurance processes.
- Write clean, efficient Java code and SQL queries for data access and business logic.
- Integrate external systems via RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams in Agile sprints to deliver high‑quality features.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues to maintain system stability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Guidewire Jutro and the Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
- Proficiency in Java development and relational databases (SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
- Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
