Software Engineer
Lead the design and maintenance of GTM systems that power an AI copilot for transactional lawyers, integrating advanced NLP and Python-driven workflows within Microsoft Word to accelerate contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize GTM systems that embed AI capabilities directly into Microsoft Word for legal contract workflows.
- Develop and maintain Python-based NLP pipelines to analyze, summarize, and suggest improvements for legal documents.
- Collaborate with product, legal, and engineering teams to translate user feedback into system enhancements.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the AI copilot across enterprise deployments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python and NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office extensibility, especially Word add-ins.
- Background in legal technology or experience working with legal professionals.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
