About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, integration, and validation of ground support equipment (GSE) systems for a commercial air‑taxi platform.
- Collaborate with avionics, electrical, and mechanical teams to define interface requirements and develop test plans.
- Develop and maintain software and firmware for GSE control, utilizing Python and PLC programming.
- Coordinate with FAA and certification bodies to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of GSE processes, documentation, and tooling to support scalable manufacturing.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering with 5+ years of integration experience.
- Proven track record in GSE or similar aerospace systems integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python and PLC environments.
- Experience with FAA certification processes and safety documentation.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
