Design, develop, and maintain ground segment systems for satellite missions, leveraging expertise in RF, software, and systems engineering to ensure reliable mission operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement ground segment solutions for satellite missions, including command, telemetry, and data handling systems.
- Develop and maintain software components in Python and C++ for real‑time data processing and control.
- Collaborate with RF and mission operations teams to optimize link budgets, antenna configurations, and signal integrity.
- Perform system integration, testing, and validation in Linux environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support during launch, commissioning, and operational phases, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
- Proven experience in ground segment or satellite communications engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with familiarity in Linux.
- Knowledge of RF principles, antenna design, and link budget analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
