Systems Engineer
Engineer responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing electric network modeling tools such as DMS and Synergi Electric to support reliable and resilient grid operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain electric network modeling applications, including Distribution Management System (DMS) and Synergi Electric.
- Provide technical guidance to control‑center engineers on grid optimization, fault analysis, and system reliability improvements.
- Develop and execute validation and testing procedures to ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze operational data to identify performance trends, support outage management, and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate modeling tools with SCADA, GIS, and other enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with experience in power system modeling.
- Proficiency with Distribution Management System (DMS) platforms and Synergi Electric or similar simulation software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex grid data for operational decision‑making.
- Experience in grid optimization, fault analysis, and reliability engineering.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support control‑center operations and cross‑department projects.
