About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement graph database solutions (Neo4j, JanusGraph, Gremlin) to support operational risk and control analytics.
- Develop data pipelines and integration services using Python, Java, and Kafka for real‑time ingestion and transformation.
- Design logical and physical data models that capture complex relationships across financial datasets.
- Optimize query performance (Cypher, Gremlin) and ensure high availability in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with risk analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable graph solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating graph databases in a production setting.
- Proficiency in Cypher and Gremlin query languages, with strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Hands‑on experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Solid understanding of data modeling for highly connected data and performance tuning techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced financial technology environment.
