About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control logic for offshore automation systems using PLC and SCADA platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components into a unified automation architecture.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root‑cause analysis of automation faults in a dynamic offshore environment.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance guidelines for long‑term asset reliability.
- Support commissioning, start‑up, and hand‑over activities for new offshore projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal).
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel to offshore sites and work in a dynamic, safety‑critical environment.
