Graduate Engineer role focused on applying data science techniques to engineering projects, using Python, SQL, machine learning and cloud tools to develop models and visualisations that improve design and delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data‑driven models to support engineering design and delivery workflows.
- Analyse large engineering datasets using Python, SQL and statistical methods.
- Create interactive visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights to multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate machine‑learning solutions into existing digital tools.
- Maintain and optimise cloud‑based data pipelines and storage solutions.
Requirements
- Recent graduate (BSc/MSc) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with machine‑learning libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow) and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying data pipelines.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
