Software Engineer
Manage, analyze, and disseminate government information, ensuring compliance with FOIA and public‑record requirements while leveraging content management systems and data visualization tools to support departmental decision‑making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain departmental data and public records in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Prepare and publish informational content using content management systems and ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct data analysis and create visual reports to support policy development and stakeholder communication.
- Handle FOIA requests, verify eligibility, and coordinate timely release of requested information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve data workflows, documentation standards, and information security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and content management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of FOIA regulations and public‑record handling procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
