About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of plant automation systems across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the integration of PLC, SCADA, and Industrial IoT solutions to optimize process control and data acquisition.
- Develop and execute long‑term roadmaps for system upgrades, performance monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with plant operations to implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, driving continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate new technologies, and negotiate contracts to support plant modernization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in plant automation and systems engineering within the cement or heavy industry sector.
- Deep knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA architecture, and Industrial IoT platforms.
- Proven track record in leading global, cross‑functional projects and driving process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data‑driven decision making and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in a multinational environment.
