Software Engineer
Global Support Services Engineer responsible for troubleshooting, incident resolution, and change implementation on enterprise‑grade servers, storage, and networking equipment using VMware, RedHat, Cisco, Juniper, HPE, and Oracle technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve incidents on enterprise‑grade systems such as superdome, power systems, storage arrays, and tape libraries.
- Implement changes, patches, and performance improvements across a diverse hardware and software stack.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deploy scalable solutions for high‑availability environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps, configuration changes, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Provide on‑call support and act as a subject‑matter expert for critical production issues.
Requirements
- Advanced technical expertise in at least one of the following: VMware, RedHat, Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Juniper (JCNP/JCIE), HPE, or Oracle.
- Strong experience with enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, Dell/EMC, Nutanix, etc.) and networking equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Valid enterprise vendor certifications are highly preferred.
