About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Defender solutions across endpoints, identities, cloud apps, and Office 365.
- Manage Azure Active Directory identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, and conditional access policies.
- Implement and maintain robust access‑control frameworks, ensuring least‑privilege principles across on‑prem and cloud resources.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including patch management, performance tuning, and high‑availability configurations.
- Develop PowerShell automation scripts to streamline security operations, reporting, and incident response.
- Monitor, investigate, and remediate security incidents in cloud and hosted infrastructures, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering with a strong emphasis on Microsoft security stacks.
- Deep knowledge of Azure AD, identity governance, and access‑management best practices.
- Hands‑on expertise with Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting.
- Proven experience securing cloud platforms (Azure or hybrid environments) and implementing security controls.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Engineer or equivalent.
