Design and implement enterprise‑wide data solutions for global production processes, leveraging cloud platforms, big‑data technologies, and advanced analytics to enable real‑time insights and continuous improvement.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the global production data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines that integrate data from manufacturing execution systems, IoT sensors, and ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to model data domains, create data catalogs, and establish governance standards.
- Implement cloud‑based solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Redshift, S3, and Glue for storage, processing, and analytics.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts, promoting best practices in data quality, performance tuning, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and big‑data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Redshift).
- Demonstrated ability to design end‑to‑end ETL workflows and data models that support analytics and reporting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
