As a Global Process Safety Engineer at micron, you will be responsible for designing and implementing process safety solutions to ensure the safe operation of our global manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, develop and implement safety protocols, and provide training and support to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement safe and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Provide training and support to employees on process safety procedures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain process safety documentation, including safety procedures, training records, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in process safety engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of process safety principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience with AWS and Python programming languages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
