GEO Geotechnical Engineer 1 - Atlas Technical Consultants

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute geotechnical field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in‑situ testing.
• Analyze soil and rock data to develop engineering recommendations for foundations, slopes, and earthworks.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and GIS platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, including field observations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field; PE license preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in geotechnical investigation and design for infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD, and geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio).
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation systems, and site characterization methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce clear technical reports.
