Lead a high‑performing engineering team focused on building and scaling geo‑auto‑forwarding services across global data centers, driving reliability, performance, and innovation using Go, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of software engineers, setting technical direction for geo‑auto‑forwarding services.
- Architect and deliver scalable, highly available distributed systems that route traffic across multiple regions with minimal latency.
- Collaborate with product, reliability, and security teams to define and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, observability, and incident response processes.
- Represent engineering in stakeholder meetings, translating technical concepts into business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems engineering, with a strong background in Go and Python.
- Proven leadership in a high‑scale, cloud‑native environment using Kubernetes and related tooling.
- Deep understanding of networking, routing, and geo‑distribution concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of building high‑performing teams.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern DevOps practices.
