Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain Genesys Cloud CX solutions, integrating with enterprise applications using Java, REST APIs, and SQL while supporting Linux environments and automation scripts.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Genesys Cloud CX contact‑center solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integration components using Java, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases.
- Write and maintain automation and support scripts in Python or Bash for deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure high availability.
- Document technical designs, configuration changes, and operational procedures following IT governance standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Genesys Cloud CX or similar contact‑center platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Java and experience building REST API integrations.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL query development.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and ITIL/Agile practices.
