Generative AI Lead Developer

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a Generative AI Lead Developer to design, develop, and implement generative AI models and Agentic automation solutions. This role involves close collaboration with architects and stakeholders, leading development efforts, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of generative AI models and Agentic automation solutions on public cloud or On-premises.
• Work closely with architects and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead the development of Gen AI solutions using Python and Agentic AI.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices and standards are followed.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, and incorporate them into the development process.
• Drive innovation by exploring and evaluating new Gen AI technologies, Agentic AI & related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying generative AI models on popular LLM platforms like GPT, Llama, Claude, Mistral.
• Hands on experience in building Agentic automation solutions leveraging frameworks like Langchain, Langgraph, Crew AI, Autogen etc.
• Hands on experience in Vector databases and different RAG frameworks.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and a thorough understanding of prompt engineering techniques.
• Hands on experience in deploying security guard rails for Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Hands on experience in building solutions that are deployed in production.
• Experience in deploying Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions compliant to Responsible AI principles.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and natural language processing techniques.
• Strong Proficiency in Python and experience in building and deploying Gen AI solutions and Agentic frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in Gen AI or AI is highly desirable.
