About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform, primarily using BigQuery.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to define data models, ensure data quality, and support migration validation activities.
- Implement and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines, validating data integrity throughout the lifecycle.
- Provide BI/reporting support, enabling self‑service analytics and dashboard creation for business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data models.
- Proven ability to perform data validation, quality checks, and support reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, analytics, and business teams.
