Lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms on Google Cloud, driving data lake, warehouse, and real‑time processing solutions while integrating AI/ML capabilities and mentoring cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions on GCP, including data lakes, warehouses, and real‑time pipelines.
- Design and optimize BigQuery schemas, Cloud Dataflow jobs, and Cloud Composer workflows for high‑throughput analytics.
- Integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines using Cloud AI services and custom ML workflows.
- Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data architectures.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data engineering experience with 3–4 years on GCP.
- Deep expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building data models and ETL processes.
- Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integration in production pipelines.
- Proven leadership in technical teams and solution architecture.
