Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions on Google Cloud, driving enterprise data strategy and AI initiatives with BigQuery, Dataflow, and advanced data modeling techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data pipelines on GCP, leveraging BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow to support analytics and AI workloads.
- Design and enforce data models, schemas, and metadata management practices that enable self‑service analytics across the organization.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and DevOps to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and cost‑effective cloud data solutions.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance controls, ensuring data quality, lineage, and auditability.
- Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on best practices for cloud data architecture and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating large‑scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and related GCP services.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and performance tuning.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
