About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end design and development of scalable, cloud‑native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Define and evolve architecture patterns, including microservices, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor developers to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues in production environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform services.
- Proven expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to lead technical teams, and excellent communication with cross‑functional stakeholders.
