About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and manage system requirements using the DOORS relational database.
- Develop and specify design concepts for the hot section of gas turbines, ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with work‑package owners, engineering stakeholders, and technical teams to align activities with project scope.
- Perform system integration tasks, validating that subsystems function together as intended.
- Produce technical documentation, design reviews, and verification reports to maintain the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in systems engineering and design of gas turbine components, particularly hot‑section hardware.
- Hands‑on proficiency with IBM DOORS or comparable requirements management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to translate requirements into detailed mechanical designs.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to bridge multiple engineering groups and deliver integrated solutions.
