Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
- The HiL Engineer is a fundamental member of the base engineering team running the HiL Farm
- You will report directly to the HiL Test Engineer Lead and support them in executing all the base tasks for ensuring proper functioning of the farm
- Your main duties will be: receiving and eventually adapting the plans from the HiL Test Engineer Lead for HiL bring up, HiL testing, HiL P&C eventually in alignment with 2nd level support
- In addition, you will be responsible, always under the coordination of the Team Lead, for troubleshooting, debugging, offering support for HiL technician/1st and 2nd level support, documentation creation and timely report to the Lead
- You will also be responsible for proper technical communication with suppliers in the working framework established by the Lead
What you'll bring
- Knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel)
- Advanced knowledge about test setups (Development Boards, Power Supply, flashing tools, HIL systems)
- Knowledge of main automotive communication standards (i.e. CAN, FlexRay, SPI, etc…)
- Test plan execution
- CAN related and Vector tools experience (CANalyzer, CANoe, etc)
- Knowledge for ADAS systems
- Advanced knowledge in HIL procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of MS Project
- ALM tools (PTC Integrity)
- Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Able to work in distributed global team environment
- Willing to learn and work with new technologies
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work within a team
- Eagerness to learn and augment your own skill portfolio
- Team orientation
- Language programming skills (C, C++, object oriented, etc…) are a nice to have
- Travel (domestic and international) may be needed on event
