About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress sites for a diverse client base, focusing on custom Divi Builder layouts and theme modifications.
- Build and integrate custom PHP modules, REST API endpoints, and database solutions to support dynamic, data‑driven features.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate wireframes into pixel‑perfect, responsive front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize site performance, implement caching strategies, and ensure cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility compliance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing WordPress installations, including updates, security hardening, and migration to WordPress VIP when required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience, with a strong portfolio of Divi Builder projects.
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with WordPress REST API, custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields.
- Solid understanding of version control (Git), build tools, and deployment pipelines.
