Full Stack Web Developer to maintain and evolve a WordPress/WooCommerce e‑commerce site while leading the migration to a custom platform, leveraging PHP, JavaScript, React and API integration to deliver a scalable, high‑performance online shopping experience.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the current WordPress/WooCommerce site, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Lead the transition to a custom-built platform, designing and implementing scalable architecture using PHP, JavaScript, and React.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect front‑end components with back‑end services and third‑party systems.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA to deliver new features and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Implement version control best practices with Git, manage code reviews, and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full‑stack development experience, with strong proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript, and React.
- Hands‑on experience building and scaling custom e‑commerce solutions and integrating third‑party APIs.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and web security best practices.
- Experience with Git workflow, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
