Full Stack Systems Engineer - New Generation Group

This is a remote position.

• Design and Develop : Create scalable and robust systems by leveraging both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Telecom Systems Expert : Work with telecommunications systems to enhance functionality and performance.
• Software Architecture : Design software architecture that meets business and technical requirements.
• UI/UX Principles : Apply your understanding of UI/UX principles to create intuitive user interfaces.
• API Gateway Management : Manage API gateways to ensure seamless integration and communication between services.
• Data Transformation : Implement data transformation processes to support system integration needs.
• Third-Party Integrations : Collaborate with various third-party services to enhance system capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ Experience in Telecom/Digital Transformation Projects : Proven track record in relevant projects is non-negotiable.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong proficiency in both front-end (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Business Process Modelling : Proficiency in modeling tools and techniques to visualize processes effectively.
• BSS Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with Business Support Systems is essential for this role.
• Agile Methodologies : Understanding of agile practices and frameworks to facilitate project delivery.
• Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract.
• Language Proficiency : Must be fluent in English; proficiency in French, Swahili, or Portuguese is an advantage.
