About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement RESTful APIs with comprehensive error handling, retry logic, and resilience patterns.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to de‑risk tickets, challenge unclear scopes, and provide clear direction to teammates.
- Own code quality, conduct peer reviews, and continuously refactor for maintainability and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, REST, and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, proactive ownership, and a servant‑leader mindset.
