About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services using Spring Framework and RESTful APIs.
- Implement responsive front‑end components with JavaScript and React, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate within an agile squad to translate business requirements into technical solutions, handling complex user stories for the International Processing Engine.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage database interactions to support high‑volume transaction processing.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines to uphold code quality and delivery speed.
- Provide timely bug fixes and enhancements, supporting production deployments and post‑release monitoring.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development, preferably with Spring Boot or Spring MVC.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React, and solid understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
