About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications using Java for backend services and React/JavaScript for frontend interfaces.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers in agile pods to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, testable code, implement unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality and maintainability.
- Optimize database interactions and write efficient SQL queries to support high‑volume financial data processing.
- Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and support production monitoring and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, with hands‑on experience building full‑stack applications.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and backend runtimes like Node.js.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write performant SQL queries.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, enthusiasm for learning, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software in a financial services environment.
