About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end web applications that enable researchers to create, test, and iterate compostable material formulations.
- Integrate Python‑based machine‑learning pipelines with the platform to provide real‑time predictive insights.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React and ensure seamless interaction with RESTful APIs built in Node.js.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on AWS, leveraging containers (Docker) and serverless components for scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, material scientists, and product teams to translate research outcomes into production‑ready software features.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building full‑stack applications with React and Node.js.
- Proficiency in Python and experience integrating machine‑learning models into production systems.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) and containerisation (Docker).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving, research‑driven environment.
