Senior Full‑Stack Developer specializing in high‑performance trading platforms, building end‑to‑end solutions with Java, JavaScript, Kafka, MQ, FIX and FpML to enable real‑time market data and order processing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack components of low‑latency trading systems, covering both front‑end UI and back‑end services.
- Implement and optimize message pipelines using Kafka and traditional MQ technologies to ensure reliable, high‑throughput data flow.
- Integrate FIX and FpML standards for order routing, market data ingestion, and post‑trade processing.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and automated testing to uphold code quality and system reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript (Node.js/React or similar) development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka, enterprise MQ systems, and financial messaging protocols (FIX, FpML).
- Proven ability to build low‑latency, high‑throughput applications in a trading or financial services environment.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and micro‑service architectures.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
