About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver responsive, high‑performance Shopify themes using JavaScript, React, Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and clients to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, enforce coding standards, and conduct code reviews.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, custom apps, and Shopify’s Storefront API to extend platform capabilities.
- Optimize site performance, SEO, and accessibility across all devices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of front‑end development experience, with a strong focus on eCommerce and Shopify.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a client‑facing mindset.
- Passion for clean code, performance, and continuous improvement.
