Software Engineer
Design, develop, and verify FPGA‑based hardware solutions using VHDL/Verilog, perform timing analysis, and create automation scripts to support diverse engineering projects across multiple sectors.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog for a variety of customer applications.
- Perform synthesis, place‑and‑route, and timing closure using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
- Create and execute verification testbenches and hardware‑in‑the‑loop setups to validate functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate system requirements into robust hardware architectures.
- Develop Python or Tcl scripts to automate design flows, regression testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FPGA prototypes and production units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with FPGA development and hardware description languages.
- Strong knowledge of digital design principles, timing analysis, and signal integrity.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Tcl for workflow automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
