Design and implement high‑performance FPGA solutions for digital front‑end and real‑time waveform generation, leveraging VHDL/Verilog and RTL design techniques to meet stringent defence and security requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and verify FPGA-based digital front‑end modules for real‑time waveform generation.
- Write and maintain VHDL/Verilog code, perform RTL synthesis and timing analysis.
- Collaborate with system architects to integrate FPGA logic into larger defence and security platforms.
- Conduct HDL simulation, functional verification, and performance optimisation.
- Document design decisions, test plans and provide technical support during integration and field trials.
Requirements
- Strong experience with FPGA development, VHDL/Verilog and RTL design.
- Proficiency in HDL simulation tools and timing analysis.
- Knowledge of real‑time waveform generation and digital signal processing concepts.
- Ability to work in a cross‑functional team and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
- Experience in defence or security applications is a plus.
