Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI‑powered content and creator storefronts, building consumer‑facing commerce surfaces and multimodal catalog pipelines on a scalable cloud platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end AI‑powered product catalog and matching pipelines using multimodal models.
- Build and maintain consumer‑facing and WhatsApp commerce surfaces for curated commerce based on OTT and long‑form creator content.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable, production‑ready services.
- Deploy and monitor services on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full‑stack engineering experience with a strong focus on backend services.
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js, with experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SageMaker).
- Deep knowledge of machine learning concepts, especially multimodal models and recommendation systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment, and excellent communication.
