About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop a robust, cloud‑native microservices platform using Python and Node.js on AWS.
- Integrate vehicle telematics data and mobility APIs to detect and process road‑related charges in real time.
- Design and implement secure payment workflows, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to iterate on features and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with a strong focus on cloud services (AWS).
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js, and experience building microservices.
- Hands‑on knowledge of vehicle telematics, mobility APIs, and payment processing.
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, and high‑availability design patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving complex, real‑world problems.
