Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of an AI‑driven evidence layer for commerce, building scalable video analytics pipelines on AWS and integrating ML models to extract structured insights from user‑generated content.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end‑to‑end video ingestion, processing, and analysis pipelines using Python and AWS services (S3, Lambda, SageMaker).
- Design and train machine learning models to extract structured data (product attributes, usage context, sentiment) from UGC videos.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to define feature requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency of the evidence layer across multiple regions.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in CI/CD and automated testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS, and experience building production‑grade ML pipelines.
- Strong background in video processing, computer vision, or related domains.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building products that scale.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD workflows is a plus.
