About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high‑performance backend services that ingest, parse, and preserve the structure of complex documents.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes and Docker for scalable, fault‑tolerant deployments.
- Develop robust APIs (REST/GraphQL) to expose processed data to AI agents and enterprise clients.
- Collaborate closely with a small, talent‑dense team to define data models, storage strategies (SQL/NoSQL), and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure production‑grade reliability through monitoring, logging, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and Go.
- Hands‑on experience building and operating services on AWS, including serverless components, IAM, and networking.
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker) in production environments.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable APIs and data pipelines, using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Track record of shipping reliable, high‑throughput systems in fast‑moving, early‑stage startups.
