About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced machine‑learning and deep‑learning models to predict uranium deposits from geological and geophysical data.
- Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines, including data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and model training, leveraging Python and cloud services.
- Collaborate with domain experts in geology and mining to translate scientific insights into actionable AI solutions.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate rapidly to improve discovery accuracy and speed.
- Publish research findings in top conferences or journals and contribute to the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or strong research experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Geosciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands‑on experience building and deploying scalable ML models on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, heterogeneous scientific datasets and perform rigorous data analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, scientific curiosity, and the drive to work in a fast‑moving startup environment.
