ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of AI models for uranium discovery, leveraging Python, deep learning, and cloud infrastructure to accelerate exploration and analysis.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for geospatial and spectroscopic data.
- Collaborate with geoscientists to translate domain knowledge into predictive models.
- Deploy scalable models on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Iterate on model performance using advanced techniques such as transfer learning and ensemble methods.
- Document experiments, maintain reproducible codebases, and mentor junior data scientists.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production ML systems in Python.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and data engineering tools.
- Strong background in geospatial or scientific data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving complex scientific problems.
