Data Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end DataOps and MLOps transformations for a hyperscale consumer‑tech client, architecting scalable data platforms, ML pipelines, and cloud‑native workflows using AWS, Kubernetes, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end DataOps and MLOps pipelines that support rapid experimentation and production deployment at hyperscale.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional client teams to embed platform engineering best practices into day‑to‑day data workflows.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure data infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and SageMaker.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data and ML artifacts using Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on cloud architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and observability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on DataOps and MLOps.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-native tooling (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience building and scaling ML pipelines and deploying models to production.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, IaC, and observability best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical initiatives in client‑facing environments.
