About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand logistics challenges and translate them into AI‑powered product concepts.
- Design, prototype, and iterate end‑to‑end machine‑learning pipelines on AWS, delivering functional demos within weeks.
- Lead a small, cross‑functional engineering team, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Integrate data engineering workflows, ensuring high‑quality data ingestion, feature engineering, and model monitoring.
- Communicate results and roadmaps to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, influencing product strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python development skills.
- Hands‑on expertise in building, deploying, and scaling machine‑learning models in production (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Proficiency with AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, and S3 for model hosting and data pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate based on customer feedback.
- Experience leading small engineering teams or projects, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
