Software Engineer
Founding Forward Deployed Engineer building scalable data and infrastructure systems for a global gaming marketing platform, leveraging Python, Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high‑performance, reliable services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and internal services that support real‑time ad and influencer analytics.
- Collaborate with product, data science and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust, cloud‑native solutions.
- Implement CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and observability tooling to ensure high availability and rapid deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers, set coding standards, and drive best practices across the Forward Deployed Engineering team.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and propose architectural improvements to keep the platform at the cutting edge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience, with a strong background in Python and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and managing services on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tooling.
- Proficiency in building data pipelines, working with SQL/NoSQL databases, and implementing real‑time data processing.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud monitoring/alerting.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for building high‑impact products.
