Forward Deployed Engineer focused on building and optimizing GenAI-driven API integration agents and data pipelines on Google Cloud, delivering end-to-end solutions that accelerate AI adoption and operational efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable GenAI agents that integrate with external APIs and internal services on Google Cloud.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and real‑time analytics to support AI model training and inference.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, evaluate model performance, and iterate on solutions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and automated testing to ensure reliability and compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross‑functional teams, fostering best practices in cloud architecture and AI engineering.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python and Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI).
- Strong background in API design, integration, and RESTful/GraphQL services.
- Hands‑on expertise in building data pipelines using tools such as Dataflow, Airflow, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts, large language models, and fine‑tuning techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication in English.
