Forward Deployed Engineer – Enterprise: Own end‑to‑end technical delivery for large manufacturing customers, designing scalable cloud‑native solutions, integrating on‑prem hardware, and managing stakeholder relationships across the US South and South‑Central regions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, scoping, and architecture design for complex enterprise integrations.
- Develop, test, and deploy production‑grade code using Python, Node.js, and containerized microservices on AWS.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Integrate on‑prem hardware with cloud services, ensuring secure data flow via REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define success metrics and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing stakeholder expectations and driving project timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and cloud architecture on AWS.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and SQL database management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate complex stakeholder maps.
