About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize topical and oral formulations for dermatology indications, ensuring efficacy, safety, and patient compliance.
- Conduct physicochemical, stability, and bioavailability studies using advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, LC‑MS, DSC, SEM).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (clinical, regulatory, manufacturing) to translate research into scalable, GMP‑compliant processes.
- Prepare detailed formulation dossiers, batch records, and regulatory submissions (IND, NDA, GMP certificates).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot formulation issues, and mentor junior scientists.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years in formulation science.
- Proven experience in dermatology product development and drug delivery systems.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and quality systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with chromatography, spectroscopy, and microscopy.
- Effective communicator with ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
