About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security systems for U.S. diplomatic facilities, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate incident response plans, including cyber and physical security incidents, and lead post-incident investigations.
- Collaborate with local and international partners to enhance security posture and share best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs for diplomatic staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security engineering, cyber security, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of federal security regulations, threat intelligence, and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in diverse, high‑pressure environments and travel internationally as required.
